Grade 9: Sophomore Sharing on the Freshman Projects

November 20, 2020

On November 17th, two sophomores shared their experience on the Freshman Projects. They showed their PPT from said project to give help and advice to the new freshmen.

The first sophomore gave a speech about what sub-topics students should choose and showed them several examples. The next sophomore talked about some difficulties that peers might encounter. For instance, she said that what everyone should pay attention to is making sure all group members can connect the main topic, sub-topic, and subjects because each group chooses one specific topic according to the guiding question, and some students might get subjects that are harder to make a connection between the main topic and the subject.

They reminded the peers the procedures and talked about the situations that they might struggle with and how to overcome them. How sophomores, who were previously freshmen, help freshmen is a good example of how the SHSID community helps each other.
