Grade 9: High School Life Launch Lesson - Education of Puberty

On September 17th, 9th graders gathered in the Zhentao Lecture Hall to listen to a lecture on puberty and sex education. First, Ms. Gu Ying started the lecture by elucidating the natural phenomena that happen during puberty for both boys and girls and emphasizing the importance of sexual health. For girls, she explained the processes of menstruation and how it can affect a girl’s mood and temper. For boys, she explained how hormones affect their impulses. Next, Ms. Cui Mengdi continued the lecture by talking about the development and importance of birth control for human being. She reiterated the importance of being cautious and responsible.

Overall, this Assembly taught students the significance of and necessary knowledge about sexual health, helping them properly and confidently approach puberty.
