Puxi Campus Grade One: Cubby Competition

September 18, 2020

For the first graders, there are many things for them to learn and many good habits to cultivate. One of them is to keep their cubbies clean and organized every day. In order to help the students strengthen their awareness in this regard, the first grade teachers designed the “cleanest cubby competition” for this week’s personal growth class.

After the bell rang, the teachers introduced the target of today's personal growth class. Upon hearing that they were going to have a competition, the students were very excited and each hoped that their cubby would be selected. Next, the teachers gave all the students some time to clean their cubbies. After all the items were organized, the student voting began. The students carefully checked each cubby and chose the cleanest and tidiest cubbies.

This activity aimed to cultivate the good habit of keeping tidy and organized. Through this competition, everyone realized what a neat cubby should be like; they should be organized regularly. Everyone also learned a lot by looking at other students’ cubbies. We believe that through this competition, children will be able to appropriately arrange their cubbies more often.
