Grade 7: ASB Election

With the new semester beginning, the Grade 7 students held their ASB election campaigns using wonderful posters and recorded videos.

When the students were all seated, teachers began to play the candidates’ videos. People were excited to see the candidates and felt ready to vote for their preferred choices.

Due to the time restriction of only one and a half minutes for each video, the candidates used many different approaches in making their videos. For some students, they preferred the traditional method of recording themselves giving a standard speech. But for some others, they chose a more creative style for their speeches which usually made many students laugh. Still others used a different format such as choosing not to show their faces in order to force people focus on the content of their platform.

After the candidates’ recorded speeches, students handed in their completed ballots choosing their ideal ASB members to their homeroom teachers.

With the the ASB election now completed, we believe that, through the leadership of these new young ASB candidates, the school will become a better place.
