G8: ASB Elections

It’s the dawn of a new school yearandso it’stime to choose a new set of ASB members. As the candidates’ posters were beingput up on the walls, many students crowded the area and watched with curiosity. Some posters were funny, some were logical and reasonable, and other posters conveyedcampaignmessages. The billboardwith the posters becamea hotspot for gatherings for a few days. However, the posters were only the appetizers of the ASB elections. The main course was yet to come: the ASB videos.

The ASB posters had raised hopes high for the videos, so on the afternoon of 9/10/2020 the students sat down in class with great anticipation. One-by-one the teachers played the videos, several of which caused many students to laugh. When the videos were all finished, the choice of who to vote for became an important decision since students can only vote for their favorite 8 candidates. After the voting was done, the votes were collected and then counted the next day. However, the main question is yet to be answered. Who shall become members of the ASB?
