Pudong Campus Grade 1-3: A Handwritten Letter

September 8, 2020

Children whohave grownup in the Internet Era have long been used to transmitting information by mobile phones or other electronic devices. At the start of the second week, however, grade one and grade two students from Pudong campuseachreceived averyspecial gift—a handwritten letter!

The handwriting on these letters might have been a little hard to read, but the words and phrases still revealed the sincere feelings of the writers. This is because the letters were written by the current second-graders or third-graders on their final day of the previous school year. They used their most authentic feelings to share their unique and valuable experience. For example, one student shared that her favorite books were hidden at the bottom shelves of the second row of the library; one shared that if you want to be well-liked, you have to learn to care about others first; another shared that second-grade homework is not difficult at all and that there are many games to play in class. On September 7th, grade three students came into the second-grade classrooms and shared all of their true experiences by reading their letters to the second-graders. Second-grade students then visited the first-grade classrooms to share their own experiences of the previous year. They all had a wonderful time.

With the guidance from their experienced buddies, the new generation of students, who have just received their letters, are looking forward to everything that will come in the new school year!
