Puxi Campus Grade 1: The Wonderful Country Introduction Posters on Social Studies Class in Grade One

Recently, all the first graders at SHSID’s Puxi Campus have learned about many different countries in their Social Studies class. To help the students review the knowledge they have learned and encourage them to learn more about different countries around the world, the teachers assigned the students a special project: they needed to make a poster introducing a country. The students chose a country of their interest and were tasked with introducing information about it on their poster, including the national flag and language, popular food, a famous person, a landmark, and an interesting fact. Many captivating and unique points were brought up, and everyone learned a lot through this activity.

During the Social Studies classes on June 4^thand 8^th, every student came up to present their posters and spoke in front of all their classmates and teachers. They all expressed themselves in a very confident way, improving their public speaking ability.

The teachers have already put these excellent posters on display in the corridor, and we hope that students are encouraged to further explore countries and areas around the world!
