Grade 6: Show Us Your Talent, We’ll Let It Shine
What can you see in Grade 6’s hallway? A whole range of concepts and ideas will blow your mind! The excellent artwork displayed in the hallway includes colorful bookmarks and killer photographs all crafted by six graders! The students had fun and learned a lot from these well-designed activities.
1. “I,Robot” Design Your Own Robot!
“Do you think one day robots and AI will dominate the Earth?” “Nowadays, robots can help mankind in many ways. Is there still anything else that robots can help us with?” These questions inspired children’s curiosity. Why are we not designing our own robots? After two rounds of competition, three robots won the Best Design of Grade 6!
2. Bookmark Design Competition
April 23rd, 6th graders spent a meaningful World Book Day designing bookmarks and sharing their favorite books with classmates. The five most popular bookmarks from every class got a chance to be displayed in the hallway.
3. “Me & Pet” Photography Awards
During the online study period, pets kept kids company. Many students were so excited to show their cute pets to us. All the pictures are full of warmth and show the harmonious relationship between animals and human beings. Students talked about these cute pets and had a lot of fun!
4. “The Most Important Things I Learned in Online Study” Sharing Session
The theme of YD class has been sharing, reflecting, and developing. Students have reflected on their online study experience and given speeches about “the most important things I learned in online study.” Some key words like self-discipline, time management, came up a lot and generated contemplation among the audience.
We hope that these activities will simulate our students’ curiosity and inspire them to further explore the many amazing aspects of school life.
