Grade 9:Visual Art Interview

June 5, 2020

In the second week after returning to school, Grade 9 students had a Visual Art interview in the Art Center, in which each student need to present 10 works they had carefully prepared. Although the content of the work is not limited, it must be original and show the student’s creativity. Students placed their artworks on a long table and waited for teachers to come by. Each piece was fabulous: they had paintings, digital art, watercolors and Chinese art. With different colors, modelling, and creativity, everyone had their own art style. When almost all the students arrived, the teachers began to grade the pieces one-by-one. Many students participated in the interviews this year, fully filling up 3 classrooms. During the scoring process, each student had about 5 minutes to present his/her work. They were required to explain their work’s inspiration, purpose and process of creation. Good luck everyone!
