High School Math Department: Hot Discussions in Blackboard Forums

The teachers of the high school Math Department have used Blackboard forums to share their firsthand online teaching experience, seeking more efficient and high-quality online teaching methods. By June 3, there were 202 posts in total on the forums.

The hotly discussed topics varied, such as assigning and handing in homework online, online and offline group discussion, students' concentration, and screen background color; however, their purposes were the same: to make students have a better online or blended learning experience and to improve teaching quality and efficiency. Teachers were not only willing to share their own experiences, but also actively responded to others' posts and reflected on their teaching methods. All the teachers have learned a lot through the discussions and reflections over the past two months. The Blackboard forums will continue to be used for discussions and the exploration of online teaching and blended teaching.
