High School Economics Department：Online Teaching Experience Sharing (III)

On the afternoon of May 14th, the teachers in the Economics Department held their fifth online teaching sharing session through Zoom. This time, Ms. He Yiwei shared her experience on how to use different teaching methods for different courses. To better help students prepare for the AP course online exams, Ms. He assigned small quizzes on the Blackboard platform and asked students to make summaries themselves and discussing them afterwards. For the G10 Economics and Business course, as it is more important to stimulate students’ interest in the subject, more group projects are involved in class to encourage students to explore more hot issues in macroeconomics. Ms. He believes that when students are clear about their goals, they have strong learning initiatives. Therefore, she applied different teaching methods to meet the different needs of students, which made the online teaching more flexible and also maximized students’ learning experience.
