Computer Science Department: Online Teaching Experience Exchange

The Computer Science Department conducted an exchange and discussion on the previous stage of online education on April 24th. Ms. Lili Mao, the head of the department, first shared several models of online teaching, including MOOC, micro-class, flipped classroom, mixed teaching and SPOC. In addition,Ms. Maofurther shared the characteristics of several teacher-student relationships in online teaching and the matching of teacher-student relationships.

At this online teaching exchange seminar, teachers discussed how to effectively carry out online teaching. In the online courses of junior high school, due to the use of advance lesson recording, the original lesson is compressed into ten minutes, so it is even more important to highlight the teaching focus. In online teaching, teachers agreed that it is crucial to fully mobilize students, promote discussions and exchanges among students, and let students help each other. Online teaching should not be designed merely from a knowledge-based perspective, but should also be organized from the perspective and experiences of students, which is more in line with the cognitive characteristics of students and further strengthens their sense of participation.
