Despite the passage of time, cultural origins remain important. The five-day Culture Week ended successfully as teachers and students shared the beauty of Chinese culture and explored the mysteries. While the activities were conducted in a different way, everyone still actively participated in all the various activities to make online Culture Week special.

During Culture Week, fourth grade explored the theme: “Tracing the Mystery of Outstanding People”. On Monday, students went online to explore the world of poetry and learned from the excellent works of writers. On Tuesday, students followed introductions to make traditional folk crafts, allowing them to explore the wonders of folk experts, and experience paper cutting, clay models, origami, and Chinese knots. On Wednesday, students began to explore the mystery of surnames, learn about the culture of surnames, and hear relevant celebrity anecdotes. The activities of Thursday and Friday were the most exciting. On Thursday, students sang Chinese style songs in various forms, such as solo, chorus, and parent-child singing. They even participated in online voting and selected the best “Masked Singer”. In addition to various activities, students from each class also brought their own elements of culture to share such as classical dance, traditional Chinese painting, teaism, Peking Opera, and more, showing the students’ love for traditional culture.

The fifth graders focus on the theme: “The Mystery of Gourmet”. In preparation, the fifth-grade students used the weekend to discover the stories behind traditional Chinese cuisine and make an audio recording. On Monday, they learned the "Eight Major Cuisines of China" from a video and participated in the "Culinary Challenge", which proved students to be eligible foodies. On Thursday, students appreciated the food essays while recalling and describing a favorite Chinese dish in the discussion area. All the students dressed in traditional Chinese costumes on Friday’s Zoom meeting, sharing a dish they made during this week.
