Grade Five Students Learn about Ecology

Grade Five students recently had an opportunity to listen to a speech about environmental protection by a teacher who was a leader of an NGO. After showing some terrible photos of pollution, the teacher and students discussed the importance of not wasting resources and adopting a living style that conserves resources. Many of the students came away with the realization that it is essential to recycle. When the class was over, some children really wanted to join the NGO and get involved in volunteer work. We believe that we can do something to save the earth.
