Pu Xi G3: Dictionary-Checking Competition

A dictionary is like a silent teacher. It is one of the most useful tools the third graders use each day. All the native Chinese students held a dictionary-checking competition during their Chinese show-and-tell class. They were divided into several groups. The group members then took turns answering questions. The group with the highest score won the competition. They used two methods to look up Chinese characters in the dictionary: with iPads or dictionary books. After the competition, all the students felt their skills were strengthened.
