8th Grade Basketball Competition
8th Grade Basketball Competition
The most recent eighth grade basketball game was very intense. Every player observed his opponents’ tactics carefully. Everyone played hard for his class, while the other students helped to carry water, watched the game excitedly, and cheered for their favorite teams.
Among all the games, the one that attracted the most attention was surely the competition between 8(1) and 8(2), the two most talented teams in 8th grade. The players from these two homerooms didn’t let the audience down, and played a highly intense, thrilling game. Their dazzling skills and remarkable athleticism were brought into full play, which frequently elicited cheers and applause from the crowd. Class 8(2) has a player who is really good at long-range shooting, which surprised class 8(1) because his shooting was so precise that he made almost every shot he took. However, class 8(1) was tough and didn’t give up easily. They devised an effective method of preventing this talented shooter from scoring. After a round of fierce competition, class 8(2) won.
Up to now, with five games finished, the winning classes from the first round are 8(2), 8(5), 8(7), 8(8), and 8(10). Among them, 8(2), last year’s champion, is widely thought to be able to maintain its first-place status. Let’s wait and see what the final result turns out to be next week!
