Grade 7：Friday’s Big Events-----Lecture at Annex Auditorium

For all the students in the 7th grade, last Friday was such a busy and exciting day. Two big events fell on the same day, which were the swimming competition and the lecture open to every student and parent of the junior section.

At 4:30 pm, students and parents were invited to the lecture at Annex Auditorium. The college counseling office hosted the lecture on college application at SHSID, which included plenty topics such as how to use the Family Connection system, something about standardized tests like TOEFL and SAT and a road map of college application. More than one hundred students with parents attended the lecture and most of them were impressed by the topics involved and were pretty happy that the school organized this kind of lecture to let them have a chance to approach those crucial things about college application ahead of time.

Parents who didn’t have the opportunity to come this time don’t have to worry either. On Oct. 5th, the same lecture will be held at the same place.
