Grade 2 Math Outdoor Class: Measure in Campus!

After Grade 2 students learnt the measurement units such as centimeter, meter, inch, foot, and yard, students went to school campus to measure different objects under teacher’s guidance. Students worked as a group, they used iPad to take pictures of objects, and measured the length or height with inch ruler and yardstick, and recorded the data in the chart. At last, they presented the results by making an e-book with pictures and description. Not only students can apply the knowledge to real life, but also they learn to cooperate with others, and increase interest in learning.
