Middle School Sports Meeting

“BANG”. Huh? What was that? No, no one got shot. That is the sound of a gun; that is the sound of the beginning of a middle school sports meeting race on April 26th. Under the encouraging beams of sunlight, each class gave their amazing, unique performances, yet the best parts always come last. Muscles stretched, knuckles cracked, pom-poms gripped, everyone was pumped up to race and win. Of course, not everything was about winning. As tempting as the shining gold medals may be, the stunning cooperation in the relay races, the encouragement from friends, and the unyielding motivation to keep racing kept the audience forever under awe. It was a time of competition. Yet it was also a time of unison. Through the track and field races, the sports meeting was indeed the most impressive of all.
