Pancake Day

On Tuesday the 26st of February, students of grade 2 learnt about Shrove Tuesday, or Pancake Day known to some.

They learnt how people give up sweet things for 40 days of Lent but enjoy a day of feasting on pancakes the day before lent begins!

Each student got to role and enjoy their own tasty pancake filled with chocolate. Everyone in grade 2 was very happy that it was Pancake Day!
