8th Grade Rope Jumping Competition-----How High Can You Jump?

Eighth grade students competed in the jump rope competition on Thursday, December 13th, and they surely had an intense time. As you looked around the basketball courts you saw classes practicing for the long-rope jumping and many students skipping on the short-rope. The short-rope jumping competition started first, with people jumping all kinds of fancy tricks, including Double Unders. Some people were so furiously jumping that they even tripped from tiredness. The long-rope jumping was no less fun as students jumped in a long, continuous chain. A few boys even added a twirl as they jumped through. Everyone had a great time. And the winners are 8(4), 8(3) and 8(2).
