Pu Dong 2nd Grade: Hawaii Friend

We invited our Hawaii friend come to our school this time. Her name is Candice. It is summer vacation for American students, so her niece, Amanda and nephew, Andrew are visiting her now. Andrew and Amanda are about our 2nd graders' age, so they were very excited about coming to our school. On that day, Candice told us a lot about Hawaii history, islands and local culture. Andrew told us many Hawaii myths and Amanda taught us how to dance Hawaii hula. In the end, they shared Hawaii macadamia chocolate with us. We all had a wonderful time with them.
