Eighth Grade Eco-fashion Show
May 3rd, 2012, Thursday, is a legendary day for all 8thgrade students. Models in newspapers, plastic bags, paper boxes and scraps of cloth put their final touches on their makeup, gave a thumbs up to their designer and strutted down the aisle with a calm, cool and conceited look in their eye. Designers marched proudly behind them to the music and gave a short introduction of their masterpiece. Fashion Runway? Not quite. The 2012 8thgrade eco-fashion show showcased array of wearable pieces of art which would have made Lady Gaga jealous. With so many enthusiastic contestants, how is the result? Let’s wait and see!
