Pu Dong G2: 2(2) Class Pet

Class 2-2 has been abuzz with excitement for the past two weeks because they have had new pet turtles! It all started when one student brought in his pet turtle. This got everyone so excited that other students started bringing in their pets too. Class 2-2 started to build up a little family of Red Eared Sliders that live in the classroom. Ms. Tharrington also got caught up in the excitement, and she got a pet turtle named “Tootsie.” Having these pets has allowed the teachers and students to talk about the responsibilities that come with having a pet and turtle health and safety. These new class pets have been an adventure over the past two weeks, but it has also been a great learning experience for Class 2-2.
