Pudong G5--Easter celebration

On Friday, to celebrate the Easter holiday and the coming of spring with the G5 students, the students played outside to enjoy the fresh spring air and then came inside to decorate eggs, as is tradition in many parts of the world. The students had choices of using markers, colored pastels or 'paper mache' to decorate the eggs. Many students in 5-1 and 5-2 chose to try paper mache, which involves soaking colored paper in a mix of water and glue, and carefully sticking the colors on. We left the paper-mache'd eggs to dry on the window sill over the weekend, and on Monday, they looked great! This was a new type of arts & crafts experience for many of the kids. Happy Spring!
