Grade 8 World Scholars Cup Club II: Beijing Round Competition

On every normal Friday, a plane from Shanghai takes off from Hongqiao airport and is going to land at Beijing. But this time, it carried twelve hyper active students who were supposed to be at school. Every one of them held a two inch thick paper packet. These are the students from SHSID that attended the World Scholars Cup, Zixing, Sarah, Valerie, Leah, Tiffany, Grace, Jaeyi, Jim, Jayden, Jeffery, Skyler and Raymond. They all had butterflies in their stomachs but were excited at the same time. Instead of the sleeping or playing electronics like the rest of the people on the plane, the students were reading their packets quietly. The students also had whispered discussions with one another. Finally, the plane landed in “another planet”, ready for a new mission.
