Poem Reading Competition

All of the second grade classes have been busy learning poems in morning read aloud time. The poems are silly and fun and everyone has a great time learning them.This week each class worked hard to memorize a poem and performance.On Friday excited second graders gathered in the auditorium to perform the week’s hard work.The performances were spectacular!Students were laughing and giggling at all of the silly poems.Four homeroom teachers judged the performances.The final results were:

First prize: 2(4) My Baby Brother and Peter, Peter, Pizza Eater

Second prize:2(1) Gotta Go!

Third prize: 2(2) I ripped my pants at school today

2(3) Perfect
