Grade 8 Roots and Shoots Club’s First Meeting

At the first meeting, the club members sat down and listened attentively, and also gave suggestions and their views on how to help SHSID save its environment. Each club member was told to introduce him/herself briefly, to allow everyone to know that person. Although it seemed more like a comedy show to some, the meeting was very productive and everyone contributed to the list of ideas. In the end, eleven ideas were written down by Valerie in the notebook. Some of these ideas included teaching people how to make recycled paper, and introducing Roots and Shoots to primary students. Jayden and Skyler helped to explain the goals of the club. In sum, the first meeting turned out to be very successful.
