Puxi Campus Grade One: The Most Impressive Storyteller

June 13, 2024

Story is one of the best friends for children in their childhood. In the stories, children can go on adventures in different places, such as castles, pastry schools, and forests, all places where imagination blooms; in the stories, children make different friends, the resourceful Zhuge Liang, the arrogant frog, and the honest and kind Cinderella... In order to find "the most impressive", the first grade held the annual Storytelling speech competition.

On May 28th, every class in the first grade was extremely lively! Children came up on stage one after another to show their favorite stories. Look, a little child confidently walked up to the stage and vividly began to tell the Taoyuan Oath story full of historical charm. When it came to the oath-taking of Liu, Guan, and Zhang, he straightened his small body, raised his right fist, with a solemn look on his face, as if he himself was the heroic Guan Yu; there was a cute little girl over there, wearing a beautiful princess dress, she told the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale with a sweet voice. When it came to Little Red Riding Hood meeting the big bad wolf, she frowned, showing a scared expression on her face, and her voice trembled slightly, making everyone's hearts tighten; there was also a lovely little girl. When telling the fable of "Hiding One's Ears While Stealing a Bell", she squinted and shook her head from time to time, making everyone laugh. When it came to the person stealing the bell, the way he tiptoed was exactly like a thief... In order to achieve the effect of the story, they not only changed their tones and imitated the voices of different characters, but also prepared props to vividly interpret the story.

On June 3rd, we hold the grade finals! The children showed their special abilities even more. When some children told "The Tiger Pulls Out Its Teeth", they danced and gesticulated, sometimes imitating the ferocious tiger and sometimes imitating the clever and cunning little fox. The vivid appearance was as if the tiger was right in front of them, and he deliberately shouted in a coarse voice: "Roar", making everyone laugh; some children brought "Journey to the West: Borrowing Treasures from the Dragon Palace". When it came to Sun Wukong, with his smart eyes and agile movements, he vividly showed Sun Wukong's cleverness. Especially when imitating Sun Wukong wielding the golden cudgel, it was powerful and made people couldn't help but cheer; there was also someone telling "Centipede Wears Shoes". While telling, he made all kinds of funny movements, sometimes squatting down and sometimes jumping up, and still murmuring, making everyone laugh until they couldn't straighten up... One after another, the wonderful stories that came one after another made everyone enjoy this feast of stories.

Through such a competition, it not only exercised the children's language expression ability and courage, but also inspired their love for reading and stories, allowing them to feel different worlds in the stories and cultivating rich imagination and creativity. At the same time, it also provides a stage for children to show themselves, allowing them to stand confidently in front of everyone and shine their own light. We hope that there will be all kinds of stories to accompany them on the growth path of childhood. Give them courage when they are timid; bring them joy when they are down; and nourish them with the qualities of kindness, honesty, and tenacity when they move forward.
