Jimmy is majoring in cellular biology and biochemistry at Washington University in St. Louis while Diandre majors both in molecular biology and in chemistry at John Hopkins University. Then, each of them told their high school stories. Jimmy focused on more general aspects, mentioning that exploring interest is the most important in 9th and 10th grades while managing workload and speeding up academic pace is expected for 11th and 12th grades. On the other hand, Diandre talked about more specific aspects, such as joining clubs and participating in competitions and research programs in 9th and 10th grades. He also suggested the students to have a work-life balance and efficient study habits. From their sharing, the 10th grade students received valuable advice on time management and planning.

At the end of the assembly, Ms. Yu also presented awards to the students who had excellent performance in the “DNA Modeling Challenge” biology activity, and the assembly ended successfully with applause.
