A New Start — the 10th Grade Back-to-School Award Ceremony Held

September 2, 2024

On Sep. 1, all 10th graders gathered together in the theatre of Zhongxing Building to welcome the starting point of the new school year.


The launch ceremony was hosted by Ms. Wu Chen. At the beginning of the ceremony, Ms. Wu reviewed the students’ activities and efforts over the summer vacation and went through the differences between the Zhongxing Building and the Zhentao Building. The students also welcomed the nine new peers who joined the SHSID community this semester. 




Then came the award ceremony that students were anticipating. The ceremony delivered awards for Good Behavior Award, Rapid Study Progress Award, Physical Exercise Award as well as subject-specific honors. These awards were handed out in order to recognize students' efforts in the previous year. 


Lastly, Ms. Wu gave a brief introduction of the upcoming ASB election and several candidates went onto the stage to seek support. After waves of applause, the launch ceremony for the 10th grade came to an end. On the starting point of this new journey, we all hope that every student will continue to pursue their goals with curiosity, hope, and perseverance!
