Grade 1-3 | Opening Ceremony of 2024 School Year First Semester

On the morning of September 2nd, the opening ceremony for grades 1 to 3 of the Puxi Campus at Shanghai High School International Division was held in the elementary school auditorium. The entire hall was filled with joy and anticipation as teachers and students gathered to begin a hopeful new chapter of the school year.





The ceremony was hosted by Ms. Zhang Yi, Director of SHSID Puxi Campus Grade 1-3. She warmly announced the start of the event, welcomed the new students, and encouraged everyone to build friendships, support each other, set goals, and bravely pursue their dreams. Ms. Zhang also introduced the newly opened Hsi Building, which added to the students' excitement for the new term.






Following this, all the teachers from grades 1 to 3 presented a video message, wishing the students a joyful start to the new school year. Then, student representatives Jason and Elena from grade 2, along with Jayden and Kaitlin from grade 3, took turns speaking on stage, sharing their growth and achievements over the past year and expressing their hopes for the new academic year.










Next, a video montage of significant events from the past semester took the teachers and students on a journey through the highlights of campus life — the excitement of sports events, the brilliance of performances, and the fun of scientific exploration. Each frame brought back fond memories, while the first graders looked forward with eager anticipation to their upcoming school life.



Finally, the ceremony reached its climax with the exciting presentation of the "Eight Stars of the Semester" and the "Excellent Class" awards. When the representatives of the winning classes received the trophies from Ms. Zhang, the hall erupted in applause, with everyone feeling proud of their hard work and achievements.
















 In the midst of the enthusiastic atmosphere, the opening ceremony concluded successfully. With the new term and a fresh start, the teachers and students of grades 1 to 3 at the Puxi Campus are ready to embark on this journey with enthusiasm and determination, creating more wonderful memories and achieving new heights together.
