Grades 11-12: Club Fair
During lunchtime on September 12, students buzzed with excitement as they set up their club booth in front of the new high school facility, Zhong Xing Building.
Various club leaders brought tables out of the building and immediately started setting up their club booth. Since it was during lunch, many students walked past the booths with curiosity as they looked at the leaders and members of different clubs trying many ways to make their booths look attractive. Some clubs prepared giant posters that immediately caught the passerby’s attention, others had small objects and achievements that represented their club activities, and some students even called loudly for students to come and learn about their club. The voices of happiness and laughter were heard between the students and their friends as they enjoyed the Club Fair.
Each club had eye-catching booths that displayed the unique qualities and aspects of their clubs. The leaders were filled with energy as they attracted various high school students to learn about their clubs. Perhaps what was more exciting was to get new members to join after seeing their booths, which were decorated with appealing posters, information about past activities, and other fun things. Many students were very eager to join the group chats of newly found clubs in the school after getting to know more at individual booths. The club leaders at the booths looked very satisfied and happy after the fair ended.
All in all, the club fair was a great opening for club activities of this academic year. It kicked off strong with many newly established clubs of sports, arts, sciences, and humanities. Moreover, it also motivated many students who just entered high school to join a community with people that have similar interests, as well as try new things offered to them. It must’ve been a wonderful experience to be introduced to so many amazing clubs, and we hope that the students have a fun journey in club activities this year.
