Puxi Campus | Middle School Section : ASB Elections

The ASB election has always been a major event of each school year. Recently, students from grades 6, 7, and 8 gathered respectively in the Grand Auditorium, the Hsi Building Auditorium, and the Hsi Building Lecture Hall, eagerly anticipating the annual ASB election campaigns.








In the afternoon, the auditorium was packed to capacity, with students' faces lit up with excitement and anticipation, while the candidates were a mix of nervousness and exhilaration. Each candidate was tasked with the challenging job of showcasing their strengths, their understanding and plans for the ASB within a limited time frame. As the head of the grade and the student host announced the start of the event, the first candidate took the stage amidst thunderous applause, officially kicking off the elections.










At the campaign event, each student's speech was brimming with individuality and creativity. From academic achievements to personal hobbies, from visions for future ASB work to concrete measures for achieving their goals, they expressed their desire to serve their peers in various ways. Some candidates used humor to amuse audience, while others touched hearts by sharing personal experiences. Their enthusiasm and innovative thinking resonated with everyone present. During the campaigns, the audience responded with great zeal, cheering on their peers on stage, bringing the atmosphere in the entire auditorium to a crescendo.









After intense competition, a new batch of ASB members was ultimately elected. This year's ASB members will consist of 13 students from grade 6, 10 students from grade 7, and 19 students from grade 8. The other candidates will serve as ASB Helpers, working together to contribute to creating an even better campus life in the coming months.
