Grade 12 Assembly: Oath of Integrity Ceremony

On Friday, September 27, Grade 12 held the Oath of Integrity Ceremony during assembly at the Xianmian Auditorium. Hosted by Ms. Yueyue Zhang, the event was graced by the presence of high school administrative leaders, representatives from college counseling office, and the parent representative, who came together to witness this significant occasion.


Kicking off the ceremony, three student representatives took to the stage to introduce the SHSID Integrity Policy, highlighting the paramount importance of honesty and integrity in personal, social, and academic relationships. Following their presentation, the entire assembly stood up, led by the student representatives, to recite a solemn pledge. In their oath, students vowed to uphold honesty and integrity, demonstrating a high sense of responsibility in their conduct, social interactions, and academic pursuits. They pledged to respect and care for the entire school community and its members, committing to abide by the principles outlined in the SHSID Academic Integrity Policy, Early Decision Policy, and Statement of Application Integrity. They solemnly promised not to violate these responsibilities at any point during their high school journey.


This pledge ceremony was not merely a collective affirmation of integrity; it marked an essential step in SHSID's ongoing efforts to foster an ethical campus environment and nurture future leaders with an international perspective and a strong sense of responsibility. Through such initiatives, SHSID reinforces the foundation of integrity education, inspiring each student to become an embodiment and ambassador of honesty.
