Grade 10 Assembly: GT Racing

On May 29, as usual, grade 10 students again gathered at the Zhentao Lecture Hall for the weekly grade assembly.

DJ from 10(6) and Aichen from 10(11) were invited to share their experience during the GT Racing Global Round at the start of May. This year’s Global Round was held in North Carolina and for the first time within five years an SHSID team has entered the global stage. DJ, Aichen, and other teammates flew to America and designed their own remote-control race car. Not only would the race cars be expected to be competitive on the tracks, but also would be graded on many other dimensions, such as self-design, aerodynamics, data-driven tests, and attraction of business sponsorship. At last, their team won the third place overall, but more than this, the teammates created valuable memories and made friends with many American competitors. Good Job!
