High School English: Autumn Inspires Creative Waves
Autumn, a season of harvest and prosperity, ushers in new beginnings. As the cool breeze flows through the campus, students embrace joy and creative energy. Literary enthusiasts are busy crafting works that celebrate abundance, enriching the school’s cultural life.
SHSID|TIMES Magazine Holds First Assembly 2024
On October 16, SHSID|TIMES magazine hosted its first all-member meeting of the semester. This gathering brought together talented student writers, editors, and designers to embark on a new publishing journey. Editor-in-chief Zane opened the meeting with a warm welcome, highlighting the importance of each member's contributions to the TIMES community and introducing core team members, showcasing their diverse backgrounds and interests. The editors encouraged open dialogue and regular updates, reminding everyone that their efforts would be appreciated and supported throughout their writing journeys.
Members will always cherish the unique platform for student voices, creativity, and love for language, expressing these within their words. The team shares a common dream: to make SHSID|TIMES more captivating, diverse, and impactful.
After the meeting, attendees received autumn-themed logo merchandise, marking the occasion and symbolizing hopes for the magazine's bright future.
Bloomsbury Cat Launches Bloom Magazine
In another exciting development, the Bloomsbury Cat club celebrated the launch of its inaugural publication, "Bloom," this semester. This magazine, part of the Bloomsbury Cat initiative, aims to raise awareness of the humanities and foster a community for literature and history enthusiasts to connect and share ideas. Members regularly post unique quotes, original works, and holiday greetings on their official WeChat account, "Bloomsbury Cat." The magazine is open for submissions from SHSID high school students, encouraging their contributions.
The theme of the first "Bloom" magazine is "Vitality," featuring a warm golden cover that captures the cozy autumn atmosphere. Inside, it showcases a variety of student poetry, essays, and short stories, highlighting the vibrant literary talent at the school.
As we embrace the autumn season and the joy of harvest, we look forward to the continued growth of literary creativity at SHSID, adding more color and energy to campus life. Let’s anticipate more outstanding works and celebrate a bright future for our school’s literary endeavors!
