Grade 10: Intro to SHSID Clubs

On September 11, the sophomores at SHSID welcomed their first assembly at the lecture hall of Zhongxing Building. As the first assembly of this semester, many well-known clubs in SHSID were invited to give their promotion.


First, the actors of Live 2 Drama took the stage to promote their drama club. Founded in 2012, Live 2 Drama holds annual reenactments of famous drama performances such as Heathers, Hadestown, and High School Musical. As for this year, Live 2 Drama will be inviting all students who are interested in dancing, singing, or acting to perform Come from Away together.


Afterward, the club leaders of SHSID Mock Trial went on stage to promote their club to the sophomores. Interestingly, they not only introduced their club, but also acted out what happens during a trial, and that sparked many sophomores’ interest.




Following that, SHSID Poster & Design Group gave a speech on the activities their club hosts. From graphic design to 3D design, SHSID Poster & Design Group makes posters and designs for diverse activities and festivals in SHSID, which caught the attention of many sophomore designers.


Finally, the Cyano Club introduced themselves. Focusing on creating a “greener” environment, the Cyano Club helps water the flowers and plants on campus, and they also spread awareness of  protecting these fragile flowers and plants.


We wish every sophomore can take away many things from this assembly and find their passion in the school clubs.
