Grade 9 Assembly：An Expansion on Clubs and Activities

On the morning of October 29, the ninth graders of SHSID gathered in the Zhongxing Theatre to attend the assembly.


Firstly, the students were reminded that the PA lectures would take place during the CAS classes on Wednesday, which would help them review for midterms. The precise schedule and location of each lecture was revealed. Then, the club Blue Balloon was introduced, that holds weekly English courses for a group of students in Qingpu, which demonstrates a commitment to community service to provide educational support for those in need.



After that, the club Indexademics, or IDX, was introduced as a club striving to make learning more creative and engaging, which promotes an environment where students can deepen their understanding and enthusiasm for various subjects. Along with IDX, the Bloomsbury Cat club was introduced, encouraging the fellow 9th grade students to join.


Last but not least, the IAA Model United Nations of SHSID was advertised, a club aiming to engage participants in active discussions on governance, political activities, and global issues.
