Grade 10 Assembly:Journey of Tennis
On November 13, the sophomores at SHSID had their grade assembly in Zhongxing Theater. The assembly started with the ASB’s promotion video on Blackout. Students were especially active in buying Blackout tickets and participating in the event.
After that, Grace from 10 (11) came up to the stage to talk about her experience playing tennis. As she narrated, tennis had been in her life since kindergarten, and ever since then, she had been devoting a never-ending persistence towards tennis practices and competitions: She showcased her past awards and shared her gains from playing tennis. Summing up her sharing, Grace encouraged all the tenth graders never to give up something they are passionate about, no matter the challenges they might face.
It was worth mentioning that the presentation day was also Grace’s birthday: after Grace’s sharing, the audience burst into enthusiastic applause and heart-warming birthday wishes. The experiences that Grace shared not only demonstrated her passion for tennis but also inspired students to participate more actively in different kinds of sports.
