Puxi Campus Grades 1-3 | Young Swimmers Brave the Waves, Showcasing their Swimming Skills!

May 23, 2024

On May 21st, a swimming competition for grades 1-3 was held at the on-campus swimming pool of Shanghai High School International Division Puxi Campus. The competition included multiple events such as men's breaststroke, women's breaststroke, men's freestyle, women's freestyle, leg relay race, and mixed relay race with any swimming style, providing a broad stage for children to showcase their swimming skills.

In the men's and women's breaststroke events, the participants demonstrated excellent techniques, with powerful kicks and strokes. The men's and women's freestyle races were also intense, with the swimmers moving through the water like agile fish, impressing everyone with their speed.

In the leg relay race, the participants needed to work as a team and complete the race by passing on leg power. They showed great coordination and fought for their team's honor together. The mixed relay race with any swimming style tested the participants' overall abilities as well as their teamwork. They flexibly switched swimming styles to complete the race at the fastest speed possible.

With the support and assistance of the parent volunteers, this swimming competition came to a perfect conclusion. This competition not only brought honor and applause to the young participants but, more importantly, taught them how to remain calm in competition and how to cooperate harmoniously with their teammates. We firmly believe that in the days to come, these participating students will carry this valuable experience with them and continue to explore, challenge themselves, surpass their limits, and write more splendid chapters in various fields.
