Grade 11 Assembly: Knowing More about Performance Arts

On the morning of December 5, 2024, the 11th-grade students of SHSID gathered at the Xianmian Building Annex Auditorium, attending the weekly assembly. Claire from 11(6) came upstage to present her interests.



Claire started with her journey in performance arts, where she participated in drama and music clubs and numerous performances, such as the school's Art Festival. Next, she talked about her interest in creative writing. Claire highlighted her transformation of writing style from brainstorming and writing simultaneously to carefully including details to create certain meanings. 



Afterward, she elaborated on her original projects that combined multiple art forms, including a short film and an original song with a music video. She concluded the presentation by showing the audience the ending clip of the short film and explaining how she designed the details, such as camera angles and background music, to convey the themes of the artwork. This presentation inspired students in the audience to make and add meaning to their art pieces.
