Grade 11 Assembly: Moving from Art to History

On Thursday, December 12, juniors gathered in the Xianmian Annex Auditorium for their weekly assembly. Ms. Yu invited Necla from Class 11(7) to give a presentation on her journey of discovering her interests.


Initially starting off with a strong passion for art, Necla eventually realized it wasn’t the path she wanted to pursue and instead found her newfound interest in history. To pursue history, she attended related competitions and did additional research independently. When visiting a historical site, she built bonds with a stranger librarian over their shared interest in history. She reminded her fellow students of the value of communicating with different people and the once-in-a-lifetime opportunities one may get from them.
