2024 Shanghai High School Piano Competition“Outstanding Contestants Concert Series” has Concluded Successfully

The series of concerts that took place this week for the Shanghai High School Piano Competition featured outstanding contestants from the SHSID Middle and Primary School. A total of eleven concerts were held across four venues, including the school’s Grand Auditorium, the Zhongxing Building, the Zhentao Building and the Music Center and showcased over one hundred student participants. Each concert’s atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and displayed a diverse range of repertoires from classical to modern, from Western to Eastern. The melodies and piano sounds intersected, romance and passion collided and the contestants presented a feast for the senses, blending Chinese and Western cultures and thereby fully demonstrating piano art’s charm.

This series of concerts was a magnificent summary of this year's piano competition at Shanghai High School and was also an exhibition of the school's music education and teaching achievements. It created a rich artistic atmosphere on campus, allowing students to showcase their talents while also enhancing their musical literacy.
