Stellar Results from Recent High School Competitions

We are delighted to acknowledge a remarkable achievement in the 2025 International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IMMC). The mathematics modeling team from SHSID, comprising four Grade 11 students, successfully claimed one of the mere two spotsavailable in the global finals from China. This remarkable accomplishment was made possible because they adopted an innovative modeling approach and presented outstanding solutions. Consequently, we eagerly anticipate their stellar performance on the global stage.

Besides, our students recently have achieved outstanding results in multiple international competitions: In the US National Chemistry Olympiad selection process, our student secured a spot in the 20-member National Study Camp. At the FTC World Championship, our team members, as part of the Shanghai Alliance, advanced to the Top 16 globally. At the TEN80 National STEM League Racing Challenge, our GT-Racing team claimed the Grand Champion 1st Place title, marking a groundbreaking achievement for our school in this competition.




Congratulations to all our outstanding students! We also extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Liao Hui from the High School STEAMS Office, along with other dedicated mentors, for their invaluable support. Their professionalism, dedication, and tireless efforts have played a pivotal role in broadening opportunities for students and bringing new honors to the school.
