Puxi Campus G8: Basketball Tournament

The 8th grade basketball tournament of SHSID was in full swing since April 2025. The tournament was carefully planned and organized by the ASB and drew the attention of many students, who joined the festivities with great enthusiasm.


The tournament brought together six joint teams, from different grade 8 classes, who had a fierce duel on the court. The players were fully committed to the game and brought a visual feast to the audience with their tenacious fighting spirit and exquisite basketball skills. After a fierce battle in the preliminary round at the end of April, the teams of 8-10 and 8-9, 8-2 and 8-7, and 8-5 and 8-8 stood out and advanced to the semi-finals. In the exciting resurrection match, the joint team of 8-1 and 8-6 successfully resurrected and came back to the tournament again with their excellent performance.





Many students came to watch the game and cheered for the participating teams. Every offense and defense on the court drew cheers and applause from the audience. This wonderful basketball feast not only enriched everyone's after-school life, but also promoted communication and cooperation between classes, enhancing the sporting spirit of the school. The team spirit accumulated in this competition will shine in their future study and life.







In the end, Class 8-5 and 8-8 won the championship with their persistent fighting spirit and excellent basketball skills, while Class 8-9 and 8-10 won the second place, and Class 8-2 and 8-7 tied for third place.



The success of this basketball tournament could not have been achieved without the hard work of ASB members and the strong support of all teachers. During the game, the enthusiastic participation of the audience added vitality to the event, as they applauded the wonderful performance and teamwork of each player, and rejoiced in the competitive spirit of the students. The basketball game not only honed the students' basketball skills, but also planted the seeds of unity and friendship in their hearts.


The tournament not only forged the will of the youngsters to climb to the top, but also built a bridge of friendship between classes. Once again, I would like to express my warm congratulations to all the students who participated in the tournament, and thank you for your enthusiasm, hard work and fighting spirit. We look forward to witnessing more exciting sports events in the future, and witnessing students growing in sports and surpassing themselves with challenges!
