Outstanding Results from the 2025 ISEF

In the early hours of May 17th, Beijing time, the 2025 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) Global Finals successfully concluded. Two Grade 11 students from SHSID achieved outstanding results with their respective projects: one Special Award, a Fourth Place Award in the category of Cellular and Molecular Biology,a First Place Award in the category of Environmental Engineering, and the fair’s top award—the Craig R. Barrett Award for Innovation. These remarkable achievements serve as a fitting tribute to the 160th anniversary of Shanghai High School.



This year marks the third consecutive year that SHSID has secured a First Place Award at the ISEF Global Finals. Since 2021, our students have earned numerous Special Awards, three Fourth Place Awards, one Second Place Award, four First Place Awards, and two of the fair’s Top Awards. These achievements not only highlight our students’ exceptional talent and dedication, but also reflect the success of our school’s guiding mission: to support the personalized and lifelong development of every student.
