Grade 11 Assembly: Making Your Own Websites

On June 12, Peiying from class 11-1 gave an engaging presentation on "Making Your Own Websites" at Xianmian Auditorium dispelling misconceptions and offering useful tips for creating web projects.


She began by addressing common misconceptions, such as the need for extensive coding experience or significant financial resources. The presentation covered the basics of coding, including HTML for structure, CSS for styling, and JavaScript for interaction. Peiying also gave some website design and coding tips. Using her group's junior project as an example, she showed different codes, the importance of format and layout, and how websites may be used in real-world situations and spread influence. Finally, by pointing out that even simple ideas can thrive online, she encouraged other students to see websites as platforms for influence, whether for portfolios, causes, or creativity.
