International Division (MPTC) – Summer Training program

From August 23rd to 24th, the Middle and Primary School Teaching Center (MPTC) successfully held the Summer Training Program for new teachers of the International Division.



Under the theme "Here in ‘China’ I Dwell, What Makes SHS?", MPTC guided young teachers through an exploration of the school’s history and culture. This immersive experience deepened their understanding of Shanghai High School and its International Division（SHSID）— an institution that has upheld excellence across three centuries.



Though the training spanned just two days, it was intensive, practical, and highly effective. Through case studies, classroom simulations, and collaborative discussions, teachers raised questions, shared insights, and collectively refined their approaches— gaining invaluable professional growth. Beyond enhancing teaching skills and pedagogical expertise,the program also fostered confidence and teamwork among participants.
