2025 Infinite Visionaries National Summit and Awards Ceremony Successfully Concluded

August 26, 2025

On 24 August 2025, the National Summit and Awards Ceremony of Infinite Visionaries was held at Shanghai High School International Division (SHSID). SHSID first hosted the event in 2013 and welcomed it back in 2025 for its 12th edition—testament to the school’s long-standing commitment to philanthropy and its mission of turning ideals into action through a platform that empowers students to engage in public service.

Empowering Future Leaders with a Philanthropic Mindset
The day opened with a keynote training session titled “From Goodwill to Good Governance: Changing the World through a Philanthropic Lens,” delivered by Ms. Huang Li, Secretary-General of the Tomorrow Love Foundation and Distinguished Professor at the Academy of Philanthropy. Drawing on diverse case studies, Ms. Huang explained the characteristics and value of the “social-economy” and encouraged students to tackle social challenges with innovative thinking. The lecture sparked lively interaction and in-depth discussion among attendees.

A Charity Bazaar Brimming with Youthful Creativity
During the lunch break, student clubs—including Urban Aid Alliance, Chinese Debate Club, Circular Economy Club, STEMDoge, Cyano, MFP, and ISTORIA—set up interactive booths at the charity bazaar. From up-cycled eco-art crafted from waste materials to hand-woven and tie-dyed creations, the students’ ingenuity and drive offered a vivid demonstration of what service-learning looks like in action.

Honours and Dreams Shine at the Awards Ceremony

The afternoon awards ceremony began with stirring performances by SHSID’s L2D Club and String Orchestra. Mr. Ma Feng, High School Principal of SHSID, delivered a welcome address that traced the school’s philanthropic journey and shared words of encouragement with the students. Awards such as “Best Team Award” and the coveted “Infinite Visionaries Award” were then presented. During the Infinite Visionaries Social Venture Pitch, Cyano representative Xue outlined the club’s campus PET-bottle recycling initiative and its Coast2Coast ocean-conservation video channel—efforts that have mobilised more peers to safeguard the environment through knowledge sharing and calls to action. The ceremony concluded with a moving finale performed by the Opera Club, leaving guests not only inspired by the students’ dedication to service but also captivated by their artistic brilliance.

As host, Shanghai High School International Division continues to weave public-service education into its holistic curriculum. This enduring relay of compassion thrives because every new generation of students chooses to carry the torch forward.
